COMMON QUESTIONS

Where will Day Camp be held?

Day Camp will take place every day at the City Reach Cedar Park campus at 3502 Hatch Road.

How do I check in or check out my child when I arrive?

We will begin checking children in at 8:00 AM each day. It is not necessary to bring your online confirmation form with you.

Will lunch or snacks be served?

Snacks will be served each day. Lunch will not be provided. If your child has a food allergy, please make sure to notify the Check-In team when you check your child in for Day Camp.

My child has a food allergy. What should I do?

We want to support your family with excellence at Day Camp and want you to help us decide what your child can safely eat. During registration, you will be given the option to indicate that your child has a food allergy. After completing your registration, you will receive an email two weeks prior to Day Camp to let know you what snacks will be served each day. This email will also contain instructions on how to send approved snacks to Day Camp with your child if needed.

Will you be able to administer any medication to my child during Day Camp?

We will not be able to administer any over-the-counter or prescription medications during Day Camp, except in the case of an Epi Pen or a rescue inhaler because these are life-saving medications.

My child has an Epi Pen or a rescue inhaler. How should I send it with them to Day Camp?

Please send your child’s Epi Pen and/or inhaler in a plastic zip-top bag with their first and last name (and allergen if applicable) written on it to the first day of Day Camp and give it to our check in team. Our check-in team will distribute them to their group leader who will keep the Epi Pen or inhaler with them at all times.

What age can my child be a leader?

Children entering 7th grade and up can serve at Day Camp, but must be 16 years or older in order to lead without a parent present at Day Camp.

Can my child be placed on the same team as their friend?

You can request a specific person be placed on your child’s team as long as they are both in the same age bracket. The information about which grades are paired together can be found when you register.
